It has been a while since we last published a blog post, and for good reason! The last few weeks we have been busy further developing both BattleMechs and the Unity SDK. In today's update we'll go over what we have been doing so far in 2022, and what's to come.

As some of you may have seen on the Zilliqa Twitter we started the new year off good with compiling the first Android build of BattleMechs. So far all demo footage shown was compiled via the Unity Engine debugger, having a working ALPHA build of BattleMechs on mobile is a great milestone in the development progress.

As the blog post picture above shows, our team has also began the Play Store app submission process. Please note that this does not mean that BattleMechs is publicly available for download on the Play Store just yet.

So, we've got a working Android build and are in the process of getting listed on the Android Play Store. What's there left to do before launch?

01
BLOX desktop game launcher for MAC and PC
02
Scilla smart contract development
As with anything crypto-related security is the number 1 priority. We are currently in the process of developing and auditing BattleMechs smart contracts.
03
Gameplay trailer
For proper marketing the BLOX team is working on recording gameplay footage and releasing an app trailer in the near future.

That's all we can share for now, keep an eye on our Twitter and Telegram for more frequent updates.
